'Steeplechaser' Bronze Race Horse statue by Harriet Glen is a magnificent national hunt racing statue capturing horse & jockey taking a large fence. Harriet Glen sculpture is characterised by an unrivalled emphasis on movement and the sculptor's admiration of her subjects shows through in each sculpture she creates. A very substantial piece measuring 11"/27cm tall and 12"/30cm long by 10cm deep approximately and weighing around 5kg this is a very powerful piece of equestrian art. This is made from cold cast bronze which is a solid material made from resin and bronze metal powder, this is then polished and patinated to before being lacquered to create a timeless finish.
