Little Dancer by O. Tupton This delightful piece by Tupton is inspired by a renowned work by Edgar Degas in 1881 called 'Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans', which translates roughly to 'Little Dancer of 14 Years'. The original Degas masterpiece was modelled on a 14 year old Belgian girl named Marie Van Goethens. This cold bronze figurine measures 25cm/10 inches tall by 8cm by 9cm. Cold cast Bronze is made from mixing powdered bronze with resin, this gives a great quality metallic finish and appearance without the high manufacturing costs associated with running a foundry.
