Little Dancer by O. Tupton
This delightful piece by Tupton is inspired by a renowned work by Edgar Degas in 1881 called 'Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans', which translates roughly to 'Little Dancer of 14 Years'. The original Degas masterpiece was modelled on a 14 year old Belgian girl named Marie Van Goethens.
