David Geenty is one of the finest sculptors in Europe with an ever extending range of superbly detailed Horses and Animals. David was born in England in 1945 and moved to South Africa at an early age andd was brought up on the family farm in the Gonarhezo range of what is now known as modern day Zimbabwe. David Geenty was an art student in Johannesburg and was influenced greatly by a renowned South African sculptor named Moses Kotler and David beleives it is He who he owes for his skill and technique. Although primarily knows as an accomplished wildlife sculptor he has also been applauded for his equine sculptures both in the UK and in the United States. David's work is on dislpay in the acclaimed Kentucky Museum of Racing History. David Geenty is very well regarded in the giftware industry and still manufacturing for himself, he continues to create studies of the wildlife and creatures that continue to fascinate him.
