This is a superb reproduction sculpture inspired by an original bronze statue by Auguste Rodin. The Cathedral / La Cathedrale is a pair of uplifted clasping hands curved in the shape of a Gothic cathedral arch. French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) carved it in stone in 1908 and the foundry of Georges Rudier cast 12 editions of the sculpture in bronze for the Musée Rodin in Paris.
This brand new creation is made from heavy cold cast bronze with a nice bronze finish. The weight is 2KG approximately and measures 22.5cm /9 inches tall overall and the base is approx 12cm wide / deep.
