The Gargoyle is a really striking bronzed figure designed by Cornwall based artist Seamus Moran, co-founder of Design Clinic. Originally Gargoyles were placed high up on the roofs of churches and were actually spouts for water to run out of their mouths, and traditionally they have always been grotesque manifestations of people or animals. This fella is certainly grotesque in a strangely attractive way and I know that he will be an object many of my customers will cherish. He measures 21cm tall by 15cm long by 10cm wide and weighs 3kg (about 7 pounds). He is made from solid cold cast bronze which is a resin mixture which contains a high persentage of bronze metal powder. Our sculptures make superb Birthday gifts, retirement gift ideas and leaving presents or are also suitable as corporate gifts. |
